Waterlily

Waterlily is a shop where all the products are made of recycled materials. Christine Gauthier settled in Cambodia in 1996. Her enthusiasm for jewelry begins with her discovery of nature and she seeks to interpret it in a different way the way she sees it.
In February 2002, she created the Water Lily.
She had first came out with the shop name Waterlily after she thought of beautiful water lilies from her home town. Also, in love with Cambodia’s nature, discovering flowers and trees, she was disappointed with the trash that are thrown everywhere on the street even though they can be reusable as a beautiful art work. Her works are unique and different from any other products designed and put together by hand. She explained that these pieces reflect the soul of Cambodia and endow her jewelry with a spirit of memory. Christine’s works are fresh and original with the wonderful mixture of colors and materials which makes her work unique. Waterlily has lots of variety to choose from the pieces for weddings, outfit, accessories including a purse and wide-brimmed hat. All these products are made with recycled materials, buttons as the most common one. Some works are produced by Christine herself but some are produced by local women who are skillful in this work. They are getting proper wages with the good condition of working place provided. You will find lots of unique artworks in Waterlily located on street 240.
